Important Links

I'm having difficulty getting the forum up and running. It seems that phpbb has been having a lot of problems with worm activities and has needed to be upgraded about every 2 weeks lately. Once there is a stable version of the software out we will get the forum back up and running. Sorry for all the fuss.

In the mean time:

World Cinema Showcase 2005

Miyazaki Hayao Season

  • My Neighbour Totoro
One of the most beloved family films of all time, My Neighbour Totoro tells the story of two girls and their adventures in a magical forest where that meet, among others, the gigantic Totoro. One for all the family.
     • Sat 9 April @ 2:15pm
     • Tue 12 April @ 11:15am

  • Porco Rosso
is an Italian WWI flying ace of the porcine persuasion. Together with his sidekick - tomboysih 17 year old Fio Piccolo, this cunning and skilled fighter pilot roves the skies, battling air pirates and fascist secret police.

     • Mon 4 April @ 4:15pm

  • Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind
Now a Japanese classic, Nausicaa is set a millenium after a biowarfare holocaust has destroyed our civilisation. This remarkable story with its fabulous eponymous heroine fighting to save her world is a stirring, sweeping epic of war and adventure.
     • Tue 5 April @ 8:30pm
     • Wed 6 April @ 4:00pm

All films are in Japanese with English subtitles.
Tickets are on sale from RIALTO CINEMAS, 250 Moorhouse Ave from March 14th 2005

They have deals for group bookings of more than 20 but since I didn't get money from everyone last time I organised a group booking I won't be doing that again.

Hope to see you there!!
