The Website

Right, the main website should be up and running by the end next week.

Latest rumour is that the content of our forum may well still all be there so it will just be shunted across into the new version of the software.

I'm not sure when the forum will be up but it should be within a week.

Upcoming Viewing Material

During the holiday we got the boxed-set of .hack//sign
Also a couple of people (w00t, Piezo Dragon?) have copies of Nausicaa -Valley of the Wind from Japan.

We intend to have showings of these titles sometime-real-soon-now.
In real terms, we intend to heave our next meeting one week after our website gets back up and running.

That Nausicaa title should be a good preview for its release in NZ.
Daniel Berry from MadmanNZ has said that it should co-incide with the Australian release of the next 3 titles in the Studio Ghibli collection (Nausicaa - Valley of the Wind, Porco Rosso and The Cat Returns) in April this year. (<_<;; *cross fingers*)

Our Organisational Committee

There are a group of us in the Christchurch Anime Tribe who are involved in organising events, making things happen and letting people know what is going on.

The Last Thing I Need

Really.. the last thing I need is a new blog, still I'm sure I'll find a need to have one in the not too distant future.

This will most likely all tie in with the renewed version of the http://animetribe.xi.co.nz/ site once it has been re- uploaded.

Damn I hate script kiddies with evil php exploits.. If I catch them I will spank their behinds.
